Great day at Jigsaw, with the presentation of an accessible minibus from the wonderful Wooden Spoon team 🥄 Great news for a fantastic organisation doing excellent work on Common Land: great stretches of the Lakes, Dales, Dartmoor and Shropshire Hills. Rights of common are some of our oldest laws and once gave people the right to gather food and firewood. Today rights of common relate mainly to grazing stock, but the traditions remain. Good care of Common Land offers benefit to communities and landscapes, and to our heritage. Great to see these private gardens flourishing for Jigsaw hospice, thanks to support from Morrisons and Together for Short Lives. Handy hot desk facility at @cumbriatourism today ☕️ Back soon after a summer break ☀️ 🐟 Reimagined approach to Auckland Castle 🏰 Lovely to see this huge redevelopment complete here at Jigsaw Children’s Hospice. Thanks in large part to a huge grant from Southampton Hospitals Charity, courtesy of Banksy’s gift of artwork during the pandemic. Incredible facilities for now and the future 🧩🩷 Out and about in Morecambe today 🌊 Works in progress thanks to new funding 🎈🧩💜 Wonderful that so many charities have benefitted from the sale of this work by Banksy 🎈- including Jigsaw children’s hospice in Cumbria 🧩 Catching up after some time away 🕶️ Recent funding successes 💕
